The series is the first of 5 anime series based on the property and also had a popular English release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series is set in the outer reachse of the Milky Way on planet Zi. The planet possesses metallic life-forms called Zoids, powerful creatuers resembling animals that have been used as weapons for centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story follows Van Flyheight, a young teenager who finds a young girl called Fiona and an original zoid named Zeke. Together they find that Zeke has the power to merge with other Zoids to become more powerful, and with that the trio set off on a journey to uncover Fiona&#8217;s past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
