It’s a sad day for cultures all around the world, as Chained Soldier<\/strong><\/a> announced during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2023, that the anime’s release has been postponed from its planned 2023 release date, until January 2024, which means we won’t see the series for at least another 10 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make up for it we did get a new key visual featuring the members of Squad 7 standing together with Yuuki in his slave form. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any other details, so we’ll just have to stay tuned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>About Chained Soldier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Chained Soldier is a manga series that’s been serialized on Shueisha\u2019s Sh\u014dnen Jump+ online platform since January 2019 and is currently still ongoing. Shueisha has collected its chapters into individual tank\u014dbon volumes and eleven volumes have been released as of September 2, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series begins when gates to another dimension called Mato begin opening across Japan, where monsters known as Shuuki begin attacking the inhabitants of the Earth. Inside these portals are a resource called a \u201cPeach\u201d, which when consumed by women gives them supernatural powers, leading to a matriarchal society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, Yuuki Wakura, a recent high school graduate, stumbles inside a gate and meets Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the 7th squad of the Demon Defense Force. Kyouka has the power to \u2018enslave\u2019 Shuuki and mount them for combat, but cornered by an increasing number of Shuuki, she asks Yuuki if she can enslave him. He consents and turns into her \u2018slave\u2019, and they defeat the Shuuki. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whenever he transforms into a slave they are unstoppable, but after the transformation is complete, slaves require a gift in return. Typically for slaves they only require meat as they are formed from monsters, however Yuuki requires something a little more intimate each time…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
