Konami announced on its official website that the four-player dueling card game Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel<\/strong><\/a> will end its service on September 4. As a dueling card spin-off title first launched on September 6, 2022, the game goes live less than a year before it shuts down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news shortly came after a recent announcement of a new event with the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS characters will be launching on April 4, which will now see as the final addition of new cards to the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span> Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel Shutdown Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The shutdown notice<\/a><\/strong> by Konami also clarified all of the proceedings going forward with Cross Duel until its September shutdown, which is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

April 5 at 5:00 [UTC]: Refund Process for unused Crystals Open<\/strong>

The segment regarding the refunding of unused Crystal also stated that the application for refunds will ask players to note down their own in-game Duelist ID and Crystal balance. Furthermore, if you delete the application before the refund is complete, or have not updated to the latest app version, there may be complications in processing your refund.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cross Duel is another spin-off and variation of the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. In this new format, four players compete together on a single field in real-time, choosing who to attack out of the group. Featuring dynamic 3D graphics for almost all monster cards, the game allows players to enjoy a new style of dueling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike the traditional turn-based card game format, the style of duels in Cross Duel adopts a real-time system to reduce the pause and waiting time in a game to maintain a quick and more exciting pace. Each game ends whenever one of the 4 player\u2019s LP drops to 0 or 8 game turns have passed. The amount of LP left at the end will determine the placement of players in the duel. Owing to the real-time nature of the game, players need to interact with each other strategically, as scenarios like betrayals and double-teaming can happen at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cross Duel also features game modes such as the raid-style 4 Player Co-Op game mode, which squares up players against powerful monster cards with abnormal stats. Take turns to whittle down the monster’s LP while making sure no one is left behind! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A separate single-player mode is also available that re-enacts key moments from the various anime series, from Duel Monsters to SEVENS. The game does not feature the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
