Zun, the original creator and character designer of the Touhou franchise, announced that the 19th mainline game created by ZUN, titled Touhou Jyuuouen ~ Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost<\/strong><\/a> coming to PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game will be a bullet-hell shooter similar to Phantasmagoria of Flower View, with difficult stages and the option for a VS mode. Zun announced that a demo for the game is also being held at the Tokyo Big Sight Center during the Hakurei Shrine Reitaisai Festival held there on May 7 at booth A01ab, and the game will be coming to Steam at a later date, though like with the other mainline releases, it likely won’t get translated into Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the game currently has no release date, the Touhou titles have often been sold during Summer Comiket, which for this year would begin on August 12, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Touhou Jyuuouen \/ Beast King’s Garden ~ Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost is a bullet-hell shooter similar to the 9th mainline game in the series, Phantasmagoria of Flower View.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game is described by Zun as “closer to the usual Touhou experiences”, and is a fast-paced shooter requiring twitch reflexes and an understanding of the massive amount of bullet patterns on the screen. You can enjoy the game in multiple modes alone or with a friend. The game’s characters currently include Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Aunn Komano, Nazrin, and Seiran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
