It was announced that Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy<\/a><\/strong> Season 2<\/a><\/strong> anime is currently in the works and is expected to premiere in January of next year. The official website for the anime unveiled a teaser visual highlighting the protagonist Makoto and his rag-tag group of friends in alternate forms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser trailer also gave fans a glimpse of the events that would transpire, showing Makoto, Tomoe, Mio, and Shiki getting into numerous hijinks while also showcasing new and returning characters that they would meet in their travels across the demiplane. Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 will be split into two cours and will be animated by J.C. Staff, replacing the previous animation production company C2C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy light novel series is written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Matsumoto Mitsuaki. Initially published on the now prestigious Sh\u014dsetsuka ni Nar\u014d (Let\u2019s Become a Novelist) self-publishing website, the novel has been serialized and acquired by AlphaPolis since. The series is ongoing and its latest 18th volume print was published on August 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
