Araido Kagiri announced that their manga series Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru<\/strong><\/a> (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) is getting officially adapted into a TV anime series!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kadokawa, unfortunately, didn’t reveal any more information about the anime series, however, a visual was shared featuring Ine Saitou and her loving husband Shouzou Saitou sitting on the porch of their home back in the prime of their youth despite being well over their 70s!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Araido Kagiri also released an illustration celebrating Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru’s anime announcement, featuring the pair in the farming outfits they would have often been seen wearing in their old age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru is a manga series about an old husband and wife who suddenly get mysterious dreams where they dream of a gigantic hourglass. When they decide to flip the hourglass over in their dreams, their body is suddenly reverted back to their 20s! The story follows the pair living out their lives in their young forms again, surprising their friends, family, and everyone in the town with their newfound youth while rekindling their love with all the things they felt they missed out on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
