Browser and mobile game Touken Ranbu’s (\u5200\u5263\u4e71\u821e) stage event at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2017 has just finished. Apart from the guests announced previously, including\u00a0Yamanbagiri Kunihiro’s voice\u00a0Tomoaki Maeno, Hachisuka Kotetsu’s voice Kazuyuki Okitsu, and Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki’s voice Kento\u00a0Hama, two more cast members,\u00a0Kashuu Kiyomitsu’s voice\u00a0Toshiki Masuda and Kasen Kanesada’s voice\u00a0Kaito Ishikawa surprised fans with their\u00a0sudden appearance. Together they announced a series of big updates for the title.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/span>Kiwame<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event revealed three existing swords for ultimate upgrade – Kiwame. According to\u00a0the teaser pictures, it is\u00a0Uchigatana that will get this upgrade. This is the first time that swords other than Wakizashi and Tantou get Kiwame.<\/p>\n

Fans suspect they are Izuminokami Kanesada, Nagasone Kotetsu, and Yamatonokami Yasusada, whom are all belongings of the Shinsengumi. They will be available in October.

\u258d<\/span>New sword<\/strong><\/p>\n

The teaser picture reveals a Kamon that is identical to Kenshin Kagemitsu’s, suggesting that this new character may be another\u00a0of Uesugi Kenshin’s sword, \u00a0Azuki Nagamitsu. He will be available in October.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/span>AR Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AR experience<\/a>\u00a0exclusively for TGS 2017 will be continued until 31st January, 2018. The video made for scanning the characters will be made available later.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/span>Konnosuke no Touken Sanpo<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

TV documentary Konnosuke no Touen Sanpo (\u3053\u3093\u306e\u3059\u3051\u306e\u5200\u5263\u6563\u6b69) will have a second season coming on 6th October this year. In each episode, a\u00a0sword\u00a0featured in Touken Ranbu\u00a0is introduced by\u00a0Konnosuke and the character’s voice actor.<\/p>\n
