The\u00a0Toilet Bound Hanako-kun<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0spin-off\u00a0After-school Hanako-kun\u00a0is getting a short anime adaptation that will premiere on October 12 in Japan. The announcement was followed by the reveal of a key visual, a short trailer, the voice casts, and a list of production staff on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first installment of the new anime project will be a 10-minute short anime series set to air over four weeks.\u00a0Crunchyroll will be streaming the series earlier on October 10 before the Japanese premiere! Based on the manga of Iro Aida under the same name, the spinoff anime depicts short stories about the daily lives of the characters outside of the main storyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series is directed by Masaki Kitamura with Lerche and Studio Hibari handling production. Kazuma Nagatomo is overseeing the series scripts, and Hiroshi Takaki is returning from the original anime run as the music composer for the new spin-off.<\/p>\n\n\n
