On 20th October, PlayStation Japan uploaded a mysterious trailer <\/a>showing tanks and a\u00a0post-apocalyptic setting.\u00a0Although\u00a0the video suggests that more information will be provided on 26th October, the November issue of Dengeki PlayStation\u00a0(Vol.649) has already given an answer –\u00a0Metal Max Xeno.<\/p>\n

Metal\u00a0Max is vehicle combat RPG first created by\u00a0Crea-Tech and\u00a0Data East in 1991. It is currently\u00a0a series\u00a0under\u00a0Kadokawa Games. According to the magazine, the latest entry,\u00a0Metal Max Xeno, will revolve around a young hero\u00a0called Thalys. He is later joined by Toni, a girl he rescues, and “Yokki”, a mechanic. Together\u00a0they fend off enemies called SoNs\u00a0in\u00a0a deserted metropolis,\u00a0Death Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Hiroshi Miyaoka, who founded the series at\u00a0Crea-Tech, will return to direct the game, while\u00a0Yutaro Kono is assigned to be the producer and\u00a0Satoshi Kadokura is the sound director.<\/p>\n

Metal Max Xeno is coming in 2018 for PSV and PS4.<\/p>\n
