Saniwa from DMM’s Touken Ranbu (\u5200\u5263\u4e71\u821e)<\/strong><\/a> will welcome new tanto, Hyuga Masamune (\u65e5\u5411\u6b63\u5b97), possibly before the end of December or in the beginning of January. This new sword announced yesterday is voiced by Kaji Yuki and illustrated by Black Butler’s mangaka Yana Toboso.<\/p>\n

A short dagger of 24.8cm,\u00a0Hyuga Masamune is made by Goro Nyodo Masamune in the Kamakura period (1185-1333).\u00a0He was once owned by\u00a0Ishida Mitsunari and even the Tokugawa family. Since he was\u00a0considered a noble gift in the past, he would say “what a pity” when he is given to somebody again. By saying that he doesn’t mean to be sad or anything. He says that to express his gratitude. A good chef when it comes to making\u00a0Umeboshi.<\/p>\n
