Gintama is adapted from the manga of the same title, which is illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized in Weekly Sh\u014dnen Jump.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to the video and a list of characters that are included in the movie, the plot is based off the Benizakura Arc\uff08\u7d05\u685c\u7bc7\uff09from the original Gintama. In this arc, Kotaro Katsura is attacked by a member of Kiheitai. The Yorozuya trio (Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura) then go searching for him, and the searching eventually turns into bloodshed.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OO1QvXHtmZ8?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The movie is directed by Yuichi Fukuda. Other actors includes Masami Nagasawa (Tae Shimura), Okada Masaki (Kotaro Katsura), Tsuyoshi Muro (Gengai Hiraga), Y\u016bya Yagira (Toshirou Hijikata), Ryo Yoshizawa (Sougo Okita), Kankuro Nakamura (Isao Kondou), Tsuyoshi Domoto (Shinsuke Takasugi).
