Live action Gintama already announced its comeback earlier in February 2018. The sequel,\u00a0Gintama 2 (tentative title) (\u9280\u9b42\uff12), has just revealed new headshots of the Yorozuya trio for the first time.<\/p>\n

According to the director Yuichi Fukuda’s twitter, filming has already begun. The arc\u00a0that the coming work is based on\u00a0is not yet revealed. The movie will premiere on 17th August 2018.<\/p>\n

Gintama is adapted from the manga of the same title, which is illustrated\/written by Hideaki Sorachi (\u7a7a\u77e5\u82f1\u79cb) and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump.<\/p>\n

In the first movie, Sakata Gintoki is portrayed by Oguri Shun, Kagura is portrayed by Hashimoto Kanna and Shimura Shinpachi is by Suda Masaki. Other actors includes Masami Nagasawa (Tae Shimura), Okada Masaki (Kotaro Katsura), Tsuyoshi Muro (Gengai Hiraga), Y\u016bya Yagira (Toshirou Hijikata), Ryo Yoshizawa (Sougo Okita), Kankuro Nakamura (Isao Kondou), Tsuyoshi Domoto (Shinsuke Takasugi). It is adapted from the\u00a0Benizakura Arc of\u00a0the original manga. In this arc, Kotaro Katsura is attacked by a member of Kiheitai.\u00a0The Yorozuya trio (Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura) then go searching for him, and the searching eventually turns into bloodshed.<\/p>\n
