Mecha\u00a0manga series\u00a0Twin Signal has long been absent since 2001. Yesterday, the mangaka Sachi Oshimizu (\u5927\u6e05\u6c34\u3055\u3061)\u00a0started a surprise crowdfunding program for its\u00a0sequel, and the\u00a0target amount\u00a0is met already.<\/p>\n

Monthly Shonen Gangan first published Twin Signal in 1992. The sequel,\u00a0Twin Signal Biennial (\u30c4\u30a4\u30f3\u30b7\u30b0\u30ca\u30eb \u30d0\u30a4\u30a8\u30cb\u30a2\u30eb), is made to celebrate the series’ 26th birthday.\u00a0Oshimizu was looking for a four million yen fund for the project, but more than\u00a0five millions have been raised so far.<\/p>\n

\"Twin<\/a><\/p>\n

Biennial takes place two\u00a0years later than the events in the first series. A think tank is planning to make robots common for all.\u00a0Nobuhiko Otoi and\u00a0Chris\u00a0Sine, who are now 13 and 19 respectively, then\u00a0leave\u00a0for a new adventure with\u00a0Signal. On their way, they meet the\u00a0successor of\u00a0Pulse and a pair of\u00a0sibling\u00a0traumatised by previous accidents.<\/p>\n
