The long awaited episode three of <\/span>Captain Tsubasa (\u30ad\u30e3\u30d7\u30c6\u30f3\u7ffc)<\/b><\/a> is finally here! Are you on track with Tsubasa\u2019s football journey? Found all the different variations between the manga and anime so far? Keep reading below for the latest distinctions.<\/span><\/p>\n \u25a0\u00a0Captain Tsubasa EP 1 An astounding surprise but Nankatsu was not Tsubasa\u2019s first choice of school! Not outlined in the manga, Tsubasa made the choice of transferring to Nankatsu Elementary after joining the Nankatsu football team. A promise he wasn\u2019t willing to break after accepting Wakabayashi\u2019s inter-school tournament challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n Wakabayashi\u2019s defeat has caused him to be determined to get better for the inter-school tournament. Lamenting over his defeat and despite his injury, he\u2019s not going to let anyone get in the way of defeating his newly found rival. With this scene showcasing the strong attitude Wakabayashi has for reaching his goal, just like Tsubasa, he has a new dream to accomplish.<\/span><\/p>\n Before hitting the big leagues, one must practice plenty to master their skills. The Nankatsu team shows off their first practice as a team with a montage! Running around the field, passing in pairs, and motivating each other before being faced off with a surprise from their coach. <\/span><\/p>\n \u258d<\/span>Tsubasa\u2019s True Passion for Football<\/b><\/p>\n As Tsubasa gathers with his fellow teammates, he\u2019s asked if he\u2019s ever been in a football club before. Explaining that he\u2019s been in a club before but due to the members not loving football, it was not a great experience. In the manga, it\u2019s shown that Tsubasa never attended any football clubs due to the unpopularity of the sport. An energetic kid, no one found football to be the next big thing aside from Tsubasa. Another key difference in the manga, is that Tsubasa\u2019s mother makes her way to the field to admire his son from afar before heading off to finish chores. What a loving hard-working family!<\/span><\/p>\n Before the start of their first practice game, Roberto is badgered by Ryo to throw out the booze! Exclaiming that booze is forbidden once he enters the field, Roberto hides it away in his pocket and proceeds to pick Ryo as the captain of the team. <\/span><\/p>\n Roberto doesn\u2019t have a strategy for Nankatsu to follow against the Nishigaoka team. He places his faith on this match to judge every single player and gives the team a motivational talk to fire up their souls. Another key difference is the addition of the bright yellow jerseys that each player is wearing.<\/span><\/p>\n Already ahead against Nishigaoka, Tsubasa sets up a shot for Ryo to score. Finally given a chance to shoot, Ryo takes the shot but is unsuccessful in scoring a goal. He might have not been able to score but this inspires the rest of the players to try harder. Talk about a fighting spirit!<\/span><\/p>\n Episode three has come and went! With the journey of team Nankatsu just beginning, there\u2019s tons more challenges to encounter ahead.
