The TV anime adaptation of Akeshi Hinata\u2019s (\u65e5\u5411\u6b66\u53f2) basketball manga series Ahiru no Sora (\u3042\u3072\u308b\u306e\u7a7a) recently releases casts and PV. The anime will premiere in October 2019.<\/p>\n

Action Heroine Cheer Fruits (\u30a2\u30af\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u30d2\u30ed\u30a4\u30f3 \u30c1\u30a2\u30d5\u30eb\u30fc\u30c4) director Keizou Kusakawa (\u8349\u5ddd \u5553\u9020) is credited as chief director of the anime, while Aho-Girl (\u30a2\u30db\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb) director Shingo Tamaki (\u7389\u6728 \u614e\u543e) is directing the anime at diomedea. Go Zappa (\u96d1\u7834 \u696d) is in charge of series composition and Yoshino Honda(\u672c\u591a \u7f8e\u4e43) is designing the characters.<\/p>\n

The story of Ahiru no Sora follows protagonist Sora Kurumatani, a high school student who loves basketball even though he is only 149 cm tall. After entering Kuzuryu High, Sora tries to join the basketball club to fulfil a promise to his mother and to win his first tournament in high school, but the club is dominated by a crowd of delinquent. Affected by Sora’s passion, they gradually fall in love with playing basketball.<\/p>\n
