Today (29th May) is a good day for Pok\u00e9mon fans as a new cloud service and several new games were announced this morning during the 2019 Pok\u00e9mon Press Conference.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Pok\u00e9mon Home: Transfer Your Pok\u00e9mon Across Devices<\/h4>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Home is a cloud-based service, which allows players to transfer their Pok\u00e9mon from every Pokemon game across platforms. The services will work with Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.<\/p>\n

Your Pok\u00e9mon collection will be transferable from Pok\u00e9mon Go and Pok\u00e9mon Bank to games like Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu!, Let\u2019s Go, Eevee!, and the upcoming Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield. It also allows players to trade Pok\u00e9mon with each other locally and globally. The services is expected to go live on 2020.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Pok\u00e9mon Sleep: Play While You Sleep<\/h4>\n

The newly announced Pok\u00e9mon Sleep undoubtedly catches eyes as it is hoped to do for sleeping what Pok\u00e9mon Go did for walking. The app will monitor users\u2019 sleep patterns and reward them for the time they spent sleeping.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe concept of this game is for players to look forward to waking up every morning,\u201d said Tsunekazu Ishihara (\u77f3\u539f\u6052\u548c), president and CEO of The Pok\u00e9mon Company.<\/p>\n

The aim is to \u201creward good sleep habits as part of a healthy lifestyle\u201d and is being developed by Select Button, which previously collaborated with the company on the smartphone app Magikarp Jump. Niantic, the developers of Pok\u00e9mon Go, is also assisting.<\/p>\n

The app will utilize a newly developed device developed by Nintendo called Pok\u00e9mon Go Plus+. The device works as a pedometer and game interface, and also functions as a sleep tracker via the accelerometer, communicating the data to a smartphone via bluetooth. The app is also slated for release in 2020.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Pok\u00e9mon Go also celebrates the announcement of Pok\u00e9mon Sleep apps with a new sleeping Snorlax event. Pokemon GO players can catch the sleeping Snorlax for a limited time.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Pok\u00e9mon Masters: A New Mobile Game in Partnership with DeNA<\/h4>\n

A brand-new Pok\u00e9mon game was also announced. Titled as Pok\u00e9mon Masters, the mobile game is developed by DeNA in partnership with Nintendo and The Pok\u00e9mon Company. The game is set to launch in 2019 for Android and iOS.<\/p>\n

The idea for Pok\u00e9mon Masters came from game designer Ken Sugimori (\u6749\u68ee \u5efa), who thought it would be fun for a Pokemon game to feature all of the past and present Pokemon Trainers from the game series. Although the gameplay is not fully revealed, but it supports 3vs3 battling system and each trainer is equipped with unique skills.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>New Detective Pikachu Game Heads to Nintendo Switch<\/h4>\n

Also revealed was a new version of Detective Pikachu, the Nintendo 3DS game that inspired the movie, coming to the Switch. It will have a new ending, according to the developers, but the details are not yet confirmed.<\/p>\n
