<\/p>\nTaking the largest exhibition area of the VR zone at TGS 2019, IVR\u2019s latest smartphone app VR Kareshi (VR Boyfriend) drew eyeballs with its exquisite cafe-themed decoration.<\/p>\n

Corresponding to the setting of the apps, the exhibition area was transformed into Caf\u00e9 Harukaze (\u55ab\u8336\u5e97\u306f\u308b\u304b\u305c), where ikemen waiters, dressed in the same uniform as the game characters, served you well to try the game demo. The pleasant coffee scent hovering around further dragged you into the game\u2019s world, though you may not be able to have an actual taste of it.<\/p>\n
Once you enter the cafe, you were welcomed by the signing boards 0f the four voice actors, including Yoshimasa Hosoya (\u7d30\u8c37\u4f73\u6b63), Showtaro Morikubo (\u68ee\u4e45\u4fdd\u7965\u592a\u90ce), Chihiro Suzuki (\u9234\u6728\u5343\u5c0b) and Keiji Fujiwara (\u85e4\u539f\u5553\u6cbb).<\/p>\n

The date with your boyfriend started once you put on the VR glasses and headphones.<\/p>\n You were able to select among the four characters and each had different distinctive features. We had selected Akito Honami (CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya) for this ten-minute game trial. As your childhood friend, Akito has a cold face, but you know that deep down he has a caring and passionate personality.<\/p>\n During the game, you could select the options simply by nodding and shaking your head. Different scenario would be created according to your decision. Commands would also appear on the screen and you could execute the commands by focusing on the same direction.<\/p>\n The game started with the heart-melting scene where Akito played with his pet dog, Haruo. While you stared them quietly at the counter, Haruo bumped into Akito, making him fall over the counter. This little incident suddenly brought Akito\u2019s face close to you as your eyes met, and shared a romantic moment\u2026<\/p>\n The sweet scene stopped abruptly with the bark of Haruo and the game trial ends here.
