In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the TV anime series, Magical DoReMi (\u304a\u30b8\u30e3\u9b54\u5973\u3069\u308c\u307f) announced details of its upcoming anime film, Majo Minarai o Sagashite \/ Looking\u00a0for Witch Apprentices (\u9b54\u5973\u898b\u7fd2\u3044\u3092\u3055\u304c\u3057\u3066). The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theatre on 15th May, 2020.<\/p>\n

Director of the TV anime series, Junichi Sato (\u4f50\u85e4\u9806\u4e00) reprises his role, alongside Y\u016b Kamatani (\u938c\u8c37\u60a0) at Toei Animation. Midori Kuriyama (\u6817\u5c71\u7da0) and Yoshihiko Umakoshi (\u99ac\u8d8a\u5609\u5f66) are also returning as script writer and character designer, respectively, and Umakoshi is also credited as chief animation director.<\/p>\n

The film follows 27-year-old Tokyo office worker Mire Yoshizuki, 22-year-old fourth-year college student Sora Nagase, and 20-year-old boyish freelancer Reika Kawatani. The appearance of a magic gem draws these three completely different women together and a new magical story begins now\u2026<\/p>\n
