Today (18th December), High School Fleet: The Movie (\u5287\u5834\u7248 \u30cf\u30a4\u30b9\u30af\u30fc\u30eb\u30fb\u30d5\u30ea\u30fc\u30c8) reveals the latest trailer featuring the movie theme song “Free Turn” by TrySail. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on 18th January 2020.<\/p>\n

The animation studio A-1 Pictures is producing, with Yuu Nobuta (\u4fe1\u7530\u30e6\u30a6) as the chief director and Jun Nakagawa (\u4e2d\u5ddd\u6df3) as the director. The scripts are written by Takaaki Suzuki (\u9234\u6728\u8cb4\u662d) and Kunihiko Okada (\u5ca1\u7530\u90a6\u5f66). Atto (\u3042\u3063\u3068) and Naoto Nakamura (\u4e2d\u6751\u76f4\u4eba) are returning as the original character designer and the character designer respectively.<\/p>\n

It is an original anime series produced by Production IMS in 2016. The story is set in a world where a large portion of Japan has sunk into the ocean 100 years after the Russo\u2013Japanese War. Due to this, people have adapted to living in the water. Akeno Misaki (\u5cac\u660e\u4e43), a student at Yokosuka Girls’ Marine High School, is studying to be a Blue Mermaid that safeguard the marine world.<\/p>\n
