Known for his work, \u201cA Silent Voice\u201d, Yoshitoki \u014cima\u2019s (\u5927\u4eca\u826f\u6642) fantasy manga \u201cTo Your Eternity\u201d (\u4e0d\u6ec5\u306e\u3042\u306a\u305f\u3078)\u00a0confirms a TV anime adaptation this October. The teaser visual\u00a0has also been revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo Your Eternity\u201d follows the story of an immortal being whose purpose is to gain knowledge of the world. It is able to take the shape of those around that have a strong impetus. At first, It is a sphere. After that, it imitates the form of a rock and then the moss atop. When an injured, a lone wolf comes limping by and lays down to die, It takes on the form of the animal. Finally, it gains consciousness and begins to traverse the empty tundra until It meets a boy.<\/p>\n

The boy lives alone in a ghost town, which the adults abandoned long ago in search of the paradise said to exist far beyond the endless sea of white tundra. However, their efforts were for naught, and now the boy is in a critical state. Acquiring the form of the boy, It sets off on a never-ending journey, in search of new experiences, places, and people.<\/p>\n

It has been serialized in Weekly Sh\u014dnen Magazine since 9th November 2016 and published by Kodansha into eleven tank\u014dbon volumes as of August 2019. In May 2019, it won the award for Best Sh\u014dnen Manga at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards.<\/p>\n
