<\/p>\nJunko\u2019s romantic comedy \u201cKiss Him, Not Me\u201d (\u79c1\u304c\u30e2\u30c6\u3066\u3069\u3046\u3059\u3093\u3060) announced a live-action movie, which\u00a0is scheduled to premiere in Japan\u2019s theatres in 10th July 2020.<\/p>\n

The cast includes, from top left, clockwise: E-girls\u2019 Nonoka Yamaguchi (\u5c71\u53e3\u4e43\u3005\u83ef) as the protagonist Kae Serinuma (\u82b9\u6cbc \u82b1\u4f9d) after losing weight; THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE\u2019s Hokuto Yoshino (\u5409\u91ce\u5317\u4eba) as Asuma Mutsumi (\u516d\u898b \u904a\u99ac); Asahi It\u014d (\u4f0a\u85e4\u3042\u3055\u3072) as Nozomu Nanashima (\u4e03\u5cf6 \u5e0c); S\u014d Okuno (\u5965\u91ce\u58ee) as Hayato Shinomiya (\u56db\u30ce\u5bae \u96bc\u4eba); Fuju Kamio (\u795e\u5c3e\u6953\u73e0) as Y\u016bsuke Igarashi (\u4e94\u5341\u5d50 \u7950\u8f14); and Miu Tomita (\u5bcc\u7530\u671b\u751f) as Kae Serinuma before losing weight.<\/p>\n
\u201cHigh & Low\u201d film series Norihisa Hiranuma (\u5e73\u6cbc\u7d00\u4e45) is directing the movie. He also co-writes the script with \u201cP and JK\u2019s\u201d Nami Kikkawa (\u5409\u5ddd\u83dc\u7f8e), \u201cHigh & Low\u201d series\u2019 Sh\u014dhei Fukuda (\u798f\u7530\u6676\u5e73), Kei Watanabe (\u6e21\u8fba\u5553), and Daisuke Kamij\u014d (\u4e0a\u689d\u5927\u8f14).<\/p>\n
\u201cKiss Him, Not Me\u201d is originally a romantic comedy sh\u014djo manga series by Junko. It is published by Kodansha since 2013 on Bessatsu Friend magazine. Fourteen volumes compiling the chapters have been released so far. An anime adaptation by Brain’s Base aired in Japan between October and December 2016. The manga won Best Sh\u014djo Manga at the 40th Kodansha Manga Awards.<\/p>\n

The story follows Kae Serinuma, who is a fujoshi that develops interests in imagining her male classmates together in romantic relationships. When one of her favorite anime characters is killed off, Kae is so shocked that she locks herself in her room for a whole week. When she eventually comes out, she discovers that she has lost a lot of weight.<\/p>\n
She becomes a beautiful girl that catches the eye of four boys at her school: Y\u016bsuke Igarashi, Nozomu Nanashima, Hayato Shinomiya, and Asuma Mutsumi. Despite learning about Kae’s bizarre tendencies, the four boys all fall for Kae and begin competing with each other for her affection, much to Kae’s frustration as she wants them to fall in love with each other.<\/p>\n
