The new cloud-based service \u201cPok\u00e9mon Home\u201d<\/a> is officially live today (12th February) on the Nintendo Switch eShop and mobile devices.<\/p>\n

This app allows trainers to store monsters for easier transfers across the titles. It supports connectivity with \u201cPok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield\u201d, \u201cPok\u00e9mon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!\u201d and \u201cLet’s Go, Eevee!\u201d, \u201cPok\u00e9mon Bank\u201d, as well as the mobile hit, \u201cPok\u00e9mon GO\u201d.<\/p>\n

With Pokemon Home, you will be able to transfer, store, and trade your Pok\u00e9mon. It also features\u00a0the Global Trading System for both paid and free accounts, though the free account does have some limitations. Essentially, a paid account can store and trade more Pokemon. It could also be the host of a room where people can all gather together to trade Pokemon.<\/p>\n

Pokemon Home also introduces a new character to the franchise. Grand Oak greets you once you log into the app. He is a researcher who \u201ccreated\u201d Pokemon Home and wants to see all of your creatures.<\/p>\n

Players can enroll into a Premium Plan, which costs money depending on how long you want a subscription. Thirty days costs US$2.99, 90 days costs US$4.99, while a year costs US$15.99. Premium Plans allow players to store up to 6,000 Pok\u00e9mon, while also gaining access to other features, including a service that tells you how strong your monsters are.<\/p>\n

The basic plan, which is free to everyone, allows you to store a maximum of 30 monsters.<\/p>\n
