The fifth season of the TV anime adaptation of \u201cFood Wars! Shokugeki no Soma\u201d (\u98df\u621f\u306e\u30bd\u30fc\u30de)<\/a> reveals a new key visual and is confirmed to premiere on 10th April 2020. The fifth season will title as \u201cShokugeki no S\u014dma: G\u014d no Sara\u201d (\u98df\u621f\u306e\u30bd\u30fc\u30de \u8c6a\u30ce\u76bf)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Story<\/h4>\n

The story follows Soma Yukihira, who continues to improve his cooking skills in Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary school where students engage in food competitions called \u201cshokugeki\u201d.<\/p>\n

In his second year, Soma is invited to participate in The BLUE, a world youth cooking championship where young chefs from all over the world gather and compete against each other. Soma not only has to compete with the best chef of his generation , but also the peers that he met in Totsuki.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Staff and Production<\/h4>\n

Yoshitomo Yonetani (\u7c73\u305f\u306b\u30e8\u30b7\u30c8\u30e2) is returning to direct the fifth season at J.C. Staff. Shogo Yasukawa (\u30e4\u30b9\u30ab\u30ef\u30b7\u30e7\u30a6\u30b4) is returning to oversee the series scripts, and Tomoyuki Shitaya (\u4e0b\u8c37 \u667a\u4e4b) is returning as character designer.<\/p>\n

nano.RIPE will perform the opening theme song “Last Chapter,” and voice actress and singer Mai Fuchigami (\u6e15\u4e0a \u821e) will perform the ending theme song “Crossing Road.”<\/p>\n
