The series is animated by Ajia-do Animation Works and directed by \u201cIzetta: The Last Witch\u201d director Masaya Fujimori (\u85e4\u68ee \u96c5\u4e5f), with Noboru Kimura (\u6728\u6751 \u66a2) handling series composition, and Nozomi Tachibana (\u7acb\u82b1\u5e0c\u671b) designing the characters.<\/p>\n
\u201cKemono Jihen\u201d (transl. Monster Incidents) is a supernatural manga series by Sh\u014d Aimoto. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s sh\u014dnen manga magazine Jump Square since December 2016 and has been collected in ten tank\u014dbon volumes.<\/p>\n
The story starts with a series of animal bodies that rot away after a single night in a remote mountain village. Inugami, a detective from Tokyo who specializes in the occult, is called to investigate.<\/p>\n
While working the case, he befriends a strange boy who works in the field every day instead of going to school. Shunned by his peers and nicknamed “Dorotabo” after a yokai that lives in the mud, he helps Inugami uncover the truth behind the killings – but supernatural forces are at work, and while Dorotabo is just a nickname, it might not be the only thing about the boy that isn’t human.<\/p>\n
