The second season of the TV anime adaptation of Natsuki Takaya\u2019s (\u9ad8\u5c4b \u5948\u6708) shojo manga \u201cFruits Basket\u201d (\u30d5\u30eb\u30fc\u30c4\u30d0\u30b9\u30b1\u30c3\u30c8)<\/a> reveals a key visual and is scheduled to premiere on 6th April 2020.<\/p>\n

The story centers on Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma, learns that twelve members of the Sohma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac and are cursed to turn into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or when they are embraced by anyone of the opposite sex that is not possessed by a zodiacal spirit.<\/p>\n

As the series progresses, Tohru learns of the hardships and pain faced by the afflicted Sohmas, and through her own generous and loving nature, helps heal their emotional wounds.<\/p>\n

The staff reprises their roles from the first season. The series is produced by TMS Entertainment and directed by Yoshihide Ibata (\u4e95\u7aef\u7fa9\u79c0). Taku Kishimoto (\u5cb8\u672c\u5353) is handling series composition, while Masaru Shindou (\u9032\u85e4\u512a) is in charge of character designs.<\/p>\n
