The TV anime adaptation of Yuumikan (\u5915\u871c\u67d1) and Koin\u2019s light novel series \u201cBOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.\u201d (\u75db\u3044\u306e\u306f\u5acc\u306a\u306e\u3067\u9632\u5fa1\u529b\u306b\u6975\u632f\u308a\u3057\u305f\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059) <\/a>has confirmed a sequel after the broadcast of its final 12th episode in Japan.<\/p>\n

Though no further details have been revealed for the new anime project, a special illustration drawn by the novel\u2019s illustrator and original character designer Koin has been revealed.<\/p>\n

The original \u201cBOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.\u201danime is animated by SILVER LINK and directed by \u201cBaka to Test to Shoukanjuu\u201d director Shin \u014cnuma (\u5927\u6cbc \u5fc3) and \u201cFate\/kaleid liner Prisma\u2606Illya\u201d chief director Mirai Minato (\u672a\u4f86\u6e4a). \u201c<\/p>\n

Hamtaro\u201d scriptwriter Fumihiko Shimo (\u5fd7\u8302 \u6587\u5f66) is in charge of the series composition, and Kazuya Hirata (\u5e73\u7530 \u548c\u4e5f) designs the characters. It was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from 8th January 8 to 25th March, 2020.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Story<\/h4>\n

The story is set in the world of VRMMO called \u201cNewWorld Online.\u201d The protagonist Maple, who knows little about games, divides all of her status points to defense power. She becomes very slow, can\u2019t use magic, and is punched around even by a rabbit.<\/p>\n

However, she finds out she feels no pain and receives zero damages. As a result of the intensive use of her points, she gets the skill of \u201cAbsolute Defense\u201d and deadly counter skills. As \u201cMobile Fortress-type Rookie,\u201d now she can disable all kinds of attacks and overcome any barriers with her \u201cLethal Poison\u201d skill.<\/p>\n
