The TV anime series \u201cTiger & Bunny\u201d announces a second season, \u201cTiger & Bunny 2\u201d, and is scheduled to premiere in 2022.<\/p>\n

The second season will follow a new story set after the events of the \u201cTiger & Bunny The Movie -The Rising-\u201d anime film. Hiroaki Hirata (\u5e73\u7530\u5e83\u660e) reprises his role as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (\u93d1\u6728\u30fbT\u30fb\u864e\u5fb9) and Masakazu Morita (\u68ee\u7530\u6210\u4e00) as Barnaby Brooks Jr. (\u30d0\u30fc\u30ca\u30d3\u30fc\u30fb\u30d6\u30eb\u30c3\u30af\u30b9Jr.).<\/p>\n

The second season is being produced by studio BN Pictures, with director Mitsuko Kase (\u52a0\u702c\u5145\u5b50) as the new director. Masafumi Nishida (\u897f\u7530\u5f81\u53f2) returns as series composition and \u201cZetman\u201d mangaka Masakazu Katsura (\u6842\u6b63\u548c) as character designer.<\/p>\n

The series first ran in Japan between April and September 2011. It is set in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime whilst promoting real life sponsors, focusing on two superheroes, the old-fashioned Kotetsu T. “Wild Tiger” Kaburagi and the rookie hero Barnaby “Bunny” Brooks Jr., as they are forced by their employers to work together.<\/p>\n

The series also inspires two anime films. The first film, entitled \u201cTiger & Bunny: The Beginning\u201d was released on 22nd September 2012. The second film, \u201cTiger & Bunny: The Rising\u201d, was released on 8th February, 2014.<\/p>\n
