Based on Sakyo Komatsu\u2019s (\u5c0f\u677e\u5de6\u4eac) disaster novel \u201cJapan Sinks\u201d (\u65e5\u672c\u6c88\u6ca1), the TV anime adaptation \u201cJapan Sinks 2020\u201d (\u65e5\u672c\u6c88\u6ca12020)<\/a> reveals a new key visual and confirms that it will premiere worldwide on Netflix in summer 2020. The anime series will have 10 episodes.<\/p>\n

Days after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, an ordinary family is put to the test as massive earthquakes throw the Japanese archipelago into total mayhem. The four members of the Mut\u014d family are caught in an earthquake that hits Tokyo, and attempt to escape the city, while disaster claws at their heels.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Staff and Production<\/h4>\n

\u201cDevilman Crybaby\u201d director Masaaki Yuasa (\u6e6f\u6d45 \u653f\u660e) is directing the anime at his Science SARU studio, with Pyeon-Gang Ho (\u8a31 \u5e73\u5eb7) credited as series director. \u201cDragon Ball Super\u201d screenwriter Toshio Yoshitaka (\u5409\u9ad8\u5bff\u7537) is penning the script.<\/p>\n

Musician Kensuke Ushio (\u725b\u5c3e\u61b2\u8f14), who has collaborated with Yuasa in \u201cPing Pong\u201d and \u201cDevilman Crybaby\u201d anime, is in charge of the music.<\/p>\n
