Square Enix\u2019s action RPG \u201cThe World Ends with You\u201d (\u3059\u3070\u3089\u3057\u304d\u3053\u306e\u305b\u304b\u3044) is confirmed to inspire an anime adaptation!<\/p>\n

\u201cThe World Ends with You\u201d is an action role-playing game with urban fantasy elements developed by Square Enix and Jupiter for the Nintendo DS in 2007. Later, an enhanced port to accommodate the game for mobile devices ported by h.a.n.d. was released in 2012, while an enhanced port for the Nintendo Switch was released worldwide in 2018 under the title \u201cThe World Ends with You: Final Remix\u201d.<\/p>\n

The game features a distinctive art style inspired by Shibuya and its youth culture. Development was inspired by elements of\u00a0 “Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories”. Tetsuya Nomura (\u91ce\u6751\u54f2\u4e5f), known for designing the characters for the \u201cFinal Fantasy\u201d series, is credited as the creative producer and character designer of the game.<\/p>\n
