To celebrate the 20 anniversary of the TV anime \u201cPrince of Tennis,\u201d a 2-part anime \u201cNew Prince of Tennis: Hy\u014dtei vs. Rikkai Game of Future\u201d (\u65b0\u30c6\u30cb\u30b9\u306e\u738b\u5b50\u69d8 \u6c37\u5e1dvs\u7acb\u6d77 Game of Future) is confirmed to open in Japan\u2019s theatres in early spring 2021.<\/p>\n

The anime project is created based on a completely original story featuring the battles between Hy\u014dtei Academy and Rikkaidai Junior High School and is supervised by the manga author Takeshi Konomi.<\/p>\n

The anime is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi (\u5ddd\u53e3 \u656c\u4e00\u90ce), director of \u201cHayate the Combat Butler,\u201d and animated by Studio KAI M.S.C. Mitsutaka Hirota (\u5e83\u7530\u5149\u6bc5) is supervising the script and Akiharu Ishii (\u77f3\u4e95\u660e\u6cbb) is designing the characters.<\/p>\n
