Bushiroad today (23rd September) makes several announcements for its DJ-themed multimedia franchise \u201cD4DJ,\u201d<\/a> which includes the premiere date of the TV anime \u201cD4DJ First Mix,\u201d the open beta test of upcoming smartphone game \u201cD4DJ Groovy Mix\u201d<\/a> and additional cast for the franchise.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>\u201cD4DJ First Mix\u201d Anime<\/h4>\n

The TV anime \u201cD4DJ First Mix\u201d will premiere on 30th October 2020. The anime centers around Rinku Aimoto (\u611b\u672c\u308a\u3093\u304f), who just returns to Japan and transfer to Yoba Academy. Moved by the DJ live show at the school, she decides to form a DJ unit with her classmate Maho Akashi (\u660e\u77f3\u771f\u79c0), Muni Ohnaruto (\u5927\u9cf4\u9580\u3080) and Rei Togetsu (\u6e21\u6708 \u9e97). There, she meets other talented DJ units, including Peaky P-key and Photon Maiden, while aiming to create the best DJ performance in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cFullmetal Alchemist\u201d director Seiji Mizushima is directing the series at SANZIGEN Animation Studio. Bushiroad is credited with the original work, and the company’s founder and president Takaaki Kidani is the executive producer. \u201cBanG Dream!’s\u201d Ko Nakamura is credited with the original story.<\/p>\n

The project’s “Happy Around!” DJ unit is performing the opening theme song \u201cRound and round DJ TURN !!\u201d (\u3050\u308b\u3050\u308bDJ TURN!!).<\/p>\n

The upcoming\u201cD4DJ Groovy Mix\u201d mobile game\u00a0will open\u00a0for beta test from 18th to 24th October 2020. A total of 50 songs will be playable and the song list will be updated everyday.<\/p>\n

Though in-app purchases are not available, all other contents will be available in the beta version. Data from the beta version is transferable when the game is officially released on 25th October.<\/p>\n

The trial version \u201cD4DJ Groovy Mix D4U edition\u201d<\/a> will end in late September.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the game\u2019s pre-registration reaching 777,777 milestones, the cover version of \u201cH-A-J-I-M-A-R-I-U-T-A-!!\u201dfrom \u201cTokyo 7th Sisters\u201d will be added to the game. Arranged songs from Touhou Project including \u201cKoiiro Master Spark\u201d and \u201cU.N. Owen Was Her?\u201d are also playable in the game.<\/p>\n
