Based on the world-known Japanese monster Godzilla, a new anime series \u201cGodzilla Singular Point\u201d\u00a0\u00a0will debut in spring 2021 in Japan before it streams worldwide\u00a0on Netflix.<\/p>\n

Studio Bones, known for animating the \u201cMy Hero Academia\u201d anime series, is partnering with Orange, the studio behind \u201cBeastars\u201d. Filmmaker Atsushi Takahashi who is directing \u201cGodzilla Singular Point\u201d mentioned that the series will combine hand-drawn and CG animation styles.<\/p>\n

The anime series features a completely original story that is unrelated to the series of prior animated films including Netflix\u2019s other titles \u201cGodzilla: Planet of the Monsters\u201d and \u201cGodzilla: The Planet Eater\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cExorcist\u201d Kazue Kato is designing the characters, while Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori is working on a new Godzilla design.<\/p>\n
