Hirohiko Araki’s \u201cJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure\u201d spinoff manga \u201cThus Spoke Kishibe Rohan” (\u5cb8\u8fba\u9732\u4f34\u306f\u52d5\u304b\u306a\u3044)<\/a> is confirmed to inspire a three-episode live-action series\u00a0by\u00a0NHK.<\/p>\n

Issei Takahashi from live-action \u201cIkebukuro West Gate Park\u201d and \u201cMarch comes in like a lion\u201d will play as Rohan Kishibe. The mini-series will premiere on the NHK General channel on December 28, 29, and 30<\/p>\n

Kazutaka Watanabe is directing the series, with scripts by \u201cJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure\u201d anime writer Yasuko Kobayashi. Actress Marie Iitoyo will play as Kyoka Izumi, Rohan’s editor. Other cast members include F\u016bga Shibazaki, Mirai Moriyama, Kumi Takiuchi, and Tomoya Nakamura.<\/p>\n

The first episode will adapt the manga’s “Fug\u014d Mura” story, where Rohan is dragged into an incident inside a millionaire’s mansion. The second episode is based on the “Kushagara” short story by Ballad Kitaguni in the novel spinoffs, where Rohan receives a strange request from fellow manga creator Jugo Shishi. The third episode is titled “D.N.A.,” and\u00a0follows an original story where Rohan is investigating his editor’s memory loss through hypnosis.<\/p>\n
