<\/p>\nSana Kirioka\u2019s “Taish\u014d Otome Otogi Banashi ” (\u5927\u6b63\u51e6\u5973\u5fa1\u4f3d\u8a71) historical romance manga was confirmed to inspire a TV anime in fall 2021 during yesterday\u2019s Jump Festa 2021 ONLINE event.<\/p>\n

A teaser visual and website are revealed for the announcement. Y\u016bsuke Kobayashi plays the protagonist Tamahiko Shima and Saya Aizawa as Yuzuki Tachibana. SynergySP is animating the series.<\/p>\n
The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Jump\u00a0SQ.\u00a0from July 2015 to September 2017, with its chapters collected in five tank\u014dbon volumes. A sequel, titled Sh\u014dwa Otome Otogi Banashi (\u662d\u548c\u30aa\u30c8\u30e1\u5fa1\u4f3d\u8a71), was serialized in Shueisha’s Sh\u014dnen Jump+ online magazine from August 21, 2018 to May 12, 2020.<\/p>\n
Tamahiko Shima is the youngest son of the powerful and wealthy Shima family. Blessed with great fortune since his childhood, he grew up wanting nothing but affection from his oftentimes distant family.<\/p>\n
After losing his mother and crippling his dominant arm in an accident, Tamahiko fell into deep despair and was cast aside by his own father for his handicap. Condemned to live isolated in the countryside where he would not bring shame to his family’s name, he resigned himself to dying alone\u2014until one day, a young girl named Yuzuki Tachibana appeared on his doorstep, proclaiming that Tamahiko’s father sent her to be his bride.<\/p>\n
As she takes care of Tamahiko, Yuzuki brings a feeling of springtime into Tamahiko’s dreary life, allowing him to gradually heal from the deep emotional scars of his youth. Their lives slowly intertwine as both Tamahiko and Yuzuki taste the fruits of their first love.<\/p>\n
