The final season of the TV anime \u201cFruits Basket\u201d(\u30d5\u30eb\u30fc\u30c4\u30d0\u30b9\u30b1\u30c3\u30c8)<\/a>\u00a0reveals a new visual and is confirmed to premiere in April 2021. The\u00a0series’ first season premiered in April 2019, followed by a second season running from April to September 2020.<\/p>\n

In the 25th (last) episode of the 2nd season, the curse of Kureno Sohma (CV: Y\u016bichir\u014d Umehara) is broken, while the true identity of the series’ key person Akito Sohma (CV: Maaya Sakamoto) is revealed. The final chapter will continue to follow Tohru\u2019s determination to break the curses of the Sohma Family and unveil the past wounds of Akito.<\/p>\n

The staff and cast will reprise their roles in the final season.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Synopsis<\/h4>\n

The story centers on Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma, learns that twelve members of the Sohma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac and are cursed to turn into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or when they are embraced by anyone of the opposite sex that is not possessed by a zodiacal spirit.<\/p>\n

As the series progresses, Tohru learns of the hardships and pain faced by the afflicted Sohmas, and through her own generous and loving nature, helps heal their emotional wounds.<\/p>\n
