The TV anime adaptation of Aya Kanno\u2019s dark fantasy manga \u201cRequiem of the Rose King\u201d (\u8594\u8587\u738b\u306e\u846c\u5217)<\/a> is confirmed to debut in fall 2021. A teaser visual and main staff members are revealed. The staff also opens the official site and Twitter account for the anime series.<\/p>\n

The series is directed by \u201cAngels of Death\u201d director Kentar\u014d Suzuki and animated by J.C. Staff. \u201cGamers!\u201d script writer Hiroki Uchida is supervising and writing the scripts. Tsutomu Hashizume is designing the characters.<\/p>\n

The story is set at the Kingdom of England, which is torn between the House of York and the House of Lancaster\u2014each claiming their leader to be the rightful king\u2014young Prince Richard III is fighting a battle within himself. Despised by his mother, adored by his father (the Duke of York, a claimant to the throne), and alienated from most others, he grapples with frightful spirits haunting him, unsteady and unintentional alliances with his enemies, and his own passion for a throne.<\/p>\n
