Following last year’s online edition, today (30th March), Tokyo Game Show announced that this year’s edition will once again be held online. The convention will take place from 30th September 2021 until 3rd October 2021.<\/p>\n

This year, the convention is officially dubbed as “Tokyo Game Show 2021 ONLINE”. The theme of this year’s contention is “We’ll always have games” (\u305d\u308c\u3067\u3082\u3001\u50d5\u3089\u306b\u306f\u30b2\u30fc\u30e0\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002). In addition to this year’s convention being the second one to be held online following last year’s convention, Tokyo Game Show 2021 is also celebrates the 25th anniversary of Tokyo Game Show. Being the second online convention, officials have stated that this year gamers will have a more complete online experience, bringing the convention closer to more gamers across the world.<\/p>\n
