Johren announced on July 21 that it will release the smartphone version of Nitroplus and DMM Games’ Touken Ranbu Online in English under the title Touken Ranbu Online Pocket<\/a>. The smartphone version is now available for pre-registration, but the official launch date is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

The browser version of the game in English is currently available on Johren<\/a> game platform.\u00a0It\u00a0also reveals plans for players to sync the data with the Johren account to the mobile version.<\/p>\n

Touken Ranbu is a breeding simulation game based on real historical swords. Players take the role of a \u201cSaniwa\u201d who travels into the past to defeat evil forces and has the ability to animate legendary swords, which are depicted as attractive young men. Combat is largely automated, with progress mainly dependent on resource management and grinding. The game first launched in Japan in January 2015. The franchise has inspired and been adapted as three anime series, stage musicals, stage plays, and a feature film.<\/p>\n
