Based on Bandai Namco Arts, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and diomed\u00e9a’s multimedia project under the same name, the Futsal Boys!!!!! <\/a>anime is confirmed to debut in January 2022. A key\u00a0visual highlighting the story’s main leads Haru Yamato and Seiichiro Sakaki is also revealed.<\/p>\n

Shedding spotlight on a bunch of high-school futsal players, the Futsal Boys!!!!! project includes a TV anime, smartphone game titled Futsal Boys!!!!! High-Five League<\/a>, and actual futsal match between the cast members, with the results of the matches affecting the story of the anime and mobile game. Futsal is a football-based game finding similarities to five-a-side football and indoor soccer.<\/p>\n

The story is set in a world over a decade after futsal has skyrocketed in global popularity. Protagonist Haru Yamato watches the championship of the U-18 world cup and is inspired by a Japanese player named Tokinari Tenn\u014dji. He joins the Koyo Academy High School’s futsal team with the goal of becoming a player like Tenn\u014dji. There, he finds friends, and together they face their rivals.<\/p>\n
