Aniplex and Sega have just announced that\u00a0Enmu and Yushiro & Tamayo will be joining\u00a0Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 The Hinokami Chronicles<\/a>\u00a0as playable characters at the\u00a0third free update coming this Thursday, December 16.<\/p>\n

\"Demon<\/p>\n

Enmu is one of the\u00a0Twelve Kizuki, and also the direct subordinate of Muzan Kibutsuji. He is a demon with a twisted personality who likes to see people’s misery and grief. He was the last of the Lower Moons to be left alive and attacked a train with two hundred passengers, of which included Tanjiro, and the\u00a0Flame Hashira,\u00a0Kyojuro Rengoku among them.<\/p>\n

\"Demon<\/p>\n

Yushiro & Tamayo are a pair of characters that support each other.\u00a0Yushiro has a\u00a0technique that allows him to attack while avoiding or by passing through the opponent’s attack.\u00a0Tamayo, on the other hand, only goes to the field when she’s summoned by a special technique and acts independently from Yushiro’s attacks.<\/p>\n

Just like the previous updates, the\u00a0pair of characters, or I guess in this particular case, trio of characters,\u00a0will be playable in the Versus Mode\u00a0and will join the cast alongside Susamaru, Yahaba, Rui and Akaza\u00a0from the previous updates. Furthermore, this is the final post-game update, meaning no further updates are currently on the plans.<\/p>\n

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, & PC.<\/p>\n

Enmu is skilled at deploying long-range assaults as well as projectiles that can stop an opponent in their tracks. His Light Attacks and Throw both have a considerable range, allowing him to fight while keeping his opponents at arm\u2019s length.<\/p>\n

When a Skill is used to obstruct an opponent\u2019s movement, repel an opponent\u2019s attack, hit the opponent, or even counter the opponent\u2019s defense, it becomes an opportunity to utilize a Demon Skill. There are two different ranges and activation times for these Demon Skills, but none can be blocked. They work best when employed to infiltrate your opponent\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

Yushiro and Tamayo act as a team, with Yushiro as the primary fighter.<\/p>\n

Yushiro has the ability to strike while dodging his opponent\u2019s attacks, as well as Skills that allow him to attack while warding them off, letting him to \u201cleap-frog\u201d into the lead during encounters. Tamayo, who has her own demonic features, may also be summoned by utilizing a Demon Skill, which allows each character to maintain their feeling of individuality while battling as a team.<\/p>\n
