Aniplex revealed on their Anime Japan 2022 presentation that the recently announced “Project Engage” anime is finally taking shape as the Engage Kiss<\/a><\/strong> romantic comedy anime. A-1 Pictures is animating the series, which will premiere in July 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anime is set in Baylong City, an artificial island city established in the Pacific Ocean to exploit local natural resources. The story centers on Sh\u016b, who runs a small company, though his spending habits have left him constantly penniless. Kisara, who frequently visits Sh\u016b’s office, is constantly worried for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kisara attends a high school in Baylong City, and does everything from clerical work to household chores with confidence. Meanwhile, Ayano is Sh\u016b’s ex-girlfriend and former work colleague in a company that Sh\u016b used to work for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fumiaki Maruto, original scenario writer for the visual novel of White Album 2, is writing and supervising the scripts for the anime, and Date A Live and Hyperdimension Neptunia illustrator Tsunako is designing the characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
