Kadokawa posted the first promotional video of the anime adaptation of Mizuho Itsuki’s Shinmai’s Management of Novice Alchemist<\/a><\/strong> light novel series. The video announces the anime’s main cast, main staff, and its premiere date in October 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story follows Sarasa, an orphan girl who just graduated from the royal alchemist training school. Having received an isolated shop as a gift from her teacher, she embarks on the leisurely life she long dreamt of as an alchemist. However, what awaits her is a shop more decrepit than she ever imagined, out in the boondocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As she gathers ingredients, trains herself, and sells goods to become an upstanding alchemist, she tries to lead her very own slow, relaxed alchemist life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiroshi Ikehata is directing the anime at ENGI, and Shigeru Murakoshi is overseeing the series scripts. Y\u014dsuke It\u014d is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Harumi Fuuki is composing the music, with production assistance from Nippon Columbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
