Billi Billi announced that it will be shutting down the Japanese server of Horcrux College<\/strong><\/a> on June 16 at 16:00 [JST]. The game was released on April 16, 2020, and has gone live for 2 years and 2 months before its shut down. The game suspended the purchase of all paid items as of May 18, 16:00 [JST].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Horcrux College Developer Notice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a post on their official Twitter,<\/strong><\/a> the developers of Horcrux College posted a thank you letter to all of the players while announcing that the service will end, and they hope to meet the players again. Players will supposedly receive a special gift by the time the service has shut down. The developers noted that the reason for the shutdown was to consider future developments and the lack of profits from the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game’s developer has only released this announcement for the Japanese version of the game. As the Chinese version, better known as Dimension Crash<\/strong><\/a> just received an update on May 17, it is safe to assume that it will still be running, compared to the Japanese version of the game which stopped receiving updates after October 26, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horcrux College is an Idle RPG where, as the chairman of the College, players build a squad of school girls to defeat the rampaging AI, and uncover the truth behind the
X-MAS virus. The game hosts an assortment of girls in different styles, and players are able to swap out members of the squads for unique attacks and even assign them to dorms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
