The anime reboot of Rumiko Takahashi\u2019s Urusei Yatsura<\/a> <\/strong>romantic comedy manga will debut this October! In coincidence with the announcement, the anime’s first key visual, promotional video, and additional cast were also revealed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Shogakukan since its establishment in 1922, the 4-cour anime is a completely new project that selects highlighted episodes from the Urusei Yatsura manga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series tells the story of Ataru Moroboshi, and the alien Lum, who believes she is Ataru’s wife after he accidentally proposes to her. Hiroshi Kamiya is newly cast as Ataru and Sumire Uesaka as Lum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two new cast members are also revealed, including Wataru Takagi as Cherry, and Miyuki Sawashiro as Sakura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
