In a KonoSuba special live stream<\/strong><\/a> on May 28, the TV anime adaptation of Natsume Akatsuki’s KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!<\/strong><\/a> confirmed that a third season is on its way! The anime will be worked on by Studio Drive, who will also be working on the newly announced anime based on the spin-off<\/a> <\/strong>story Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! featuring Megumin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement also revealed a new visual for KonoSuba Season 3 and the staff members that will be working on it, with several members involved with the first 2 seasons rejoining the team! Studio Drive is will be taking over from Studio Deen, and the original voice cast will be reprising their roles. No release date was announced during the broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KonoSuba is the story following Kazuma Sat\u014d, a Japanese NEET who meets the goddess Aqua after dying an embarrassing death. Aqua offers to reincarnate him in another world with elements of an MMORPG and offers him anything from superpowers to the strongest weapon. However, after being provoked and laughed at by her, Kazuma instead chooses to bring Aqua to the world with him, only to find her to actually be more useless than helpful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Aqua not being able to return to her duties unless they defeat the Devil King, the pair form a party with the eccentric explosion enthusiast Megumin, and the Masochistic Darkness, to one day defeat the Devil King!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
