The jazz-inspired multimedia project “swing,sing” <\/a><\/strong>revealed a new visual and a new DJ unit, Z-A. The project follows a student who drops out of music school to move to a town in Nagano, where she runs the Primrose Caf\u00e9 and encounters the beauty of jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two new characters of the university DJ unit, Z-A (read as Zeddah), were newly added to the project. Z-A is composed of Asuha Seto, voiced by Machico, and Akemi Kazamatsuri, voiced by Ruri Asano, a “ninja-type” V-Tuber voice actress.

Akemi is Ruri Kazamatsuri’s older sister, and they have known each other since childhood. She is a university student with a record of international events and single releases, attracting many fans both in Japan and abroad. She runs her own bar in her hometown of Saku City, Nagano Prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Z-A Unit First Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Z-A’s first event, the Z-A 1st ElectroSwingParty: Jolie TwinZ XD from swing, sing” will be held at SEL OCTAGON TOKYO nightclub in Roppongi, Tokyo on December 18, featuring Machico and Asano. New Z-A songs will be performed, as well as existing songs with an “Electro Swing arrangement”. Ticket information for Z-A’s event and details of the live event will be posted on the official Twitter accounts at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>Harmony and Yume no Nakeru Songs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The two character songs Harmony and Yume no Nakaeru sung by Yui Ninomiya’s character Violet will be released digitally on May 29. It will also be distributed through various streaming services. Other character songs will be distributed sequentially in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this announcement, the manga version of “swing, sing” by Tori Yarrow began serialization via the official website. 5 chapters will be serialized on a bi-weekly basis.

The first chapter, “Spring, Let’s Go by Train,” begins with Violet, who has been attending a music school in the city, deciding to transfer to a new school to escape from her daily life. However, the Primrose Caf\u00e9 is on the verge of bankruptcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official merchandise will be sold all across anime Japan stores starting on June 10. An “Only Shop” will also be held at the AKIHABARA Gamers main store in Tokyo in the fall. Details about the limited merchandise and the “Only Shop” location and time will be announced on the official website and official Twitter account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
