The original anime Opus Colors has revealed the first trailer that previews the opening song “Shiny” by the male music group Urashimasakatasen. The series is confirmed to premiere on April 6, 2023.
“Shiny” is a song that depicts “us” changing to various colors as we move forward in our daily lives, as the group of artists said, adding: “We hope it will enlighten the hearts of those who listen to it, even if just a little bit”.
In addition, Opus Colors will be exhibited at the NBCUniversal booth at AnimeJapan 2023 to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 25 and 26. The main cast, Yuma Uchida (as Yamanashi Kazuya), Ryōta Ōsaka (as Takise Kiyo), Yūichirō Umehara (as Hajima Iori), Yoshiki Nakajima (as Mikuriya Kaede), and Ryōta Suzuki (as Kirinoe Mashu) will be joining the event on stage on March 26, at 13:05 pm [JPT].
The anime also opened an official LINE releasing the upcoming project, including a drama CD “#FF0000 RED” and a manga adaptation.
Created by the Star-Myu anime staff, Opus Colors is set in a world where perception art, a new field of painting in which artists and graders work in pairs to create artwork, has become widespread. The story will focus on Kazuya Yamanashi the son of a couple who is considered one of the founders of perception art, and his childhood friend Jun Tsuzuki, a Grader.
