Today (25th June), Kugane Maruyama’s (丸山くがね) OVERLORD series announced a new mobile game adaptation for the series, titled “Mass for the Dead”! The game is now available for pre-registration, pre-registration participants will have a chance to win an over 2m long Staff of Ains Ooal Gown (スタッフ・オブ・アインズ・ウール・ゴウン)!
▍World Setting
The upcoming mobile game is based on Maruyama’s OVERLORD series. The story is set in a fantasy virtual MMORPG (Dive MMORPG), YGGDRASIL. As the game ends its service, you find yourself within an underground crypt. Players will play as the strongest skeletal mage, Momonga.
▍Pre-Registration Project Vol. 1
Pre-registration rewards will include up to 500 Chaos Stones which is enough for one 10x Gacha. Additionally, the game’s officials have announced that all pre-registered players will receive a chance to win a special 1:1 replica of Momonga’s personal staff, Staff of Ains Ooal Gown.
