在昨晚（8月21日）舉辦的 Cygames 新作發佈會「Cygames NEXT 2016」上，Cygames公布與 PlatinumGames 合作開發的改編自「Granblue Fantasy」的動作RPG新作「Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link」，目前對應平台未知。
「Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link」是由製作「尼爾：自動人形（ NieR Automata）」（PS4）和「龍鱗化身（Scalebound）」（Xbox One）的 PlatinumGames 負責開發，據官方透露，本作目前的開發進度只有10%，為了再現「GBF」中精美的角色設定「Project Re:Link」將來還會不斷調整角色模組和追加更多新角色登場。
