The Pokémon Company revealed a teaser picture of its latest mobile title Pokémon: Magikarp Jump (はねろ！コイキング！) in February this year. The game is now finally released for free.
This new game allows players to breed and raise the world’s weakest Pokémon – Magikarp. Set in the town of Pop Town, Pokémon trainers are there to participate in a league that ranks Magikarp according to how high they jump. Whoever’s Magikarp jumps the highest wins the competition.
Food and training are essential to raising a Magikarp since they help it jump higher. Pikachu, Charizard, Piplup, etc. are featured in the game to provide support for the players. There is also a library where different types of Magikarp collected can be viewed.
Pokémon: Magikarp Jump is available on iOS and Android in various languages including English.
